The Graduate Support Program at Xavier Jesuit Academy is designed to assist students, parents, and guardians with choosing a “right fit” high school as they prepare to depart XJA. To help families prepare for this important transition, our graduate support services begin for students in the seventh grade by increasing their awareness of local high school options and helping students and families determine realistic and appropriate high school choices.

In the eighth grade, graduate support helps students develop the skills needed to prepare for the high school admissions process including essay writing, test prep, and interview skills. We take the time to work through the application process with students and families, aiding in areas from arranging high school visits, to completing applications and financial aid paperwork. The goal of this additional service is to provide high school transition assistance for students and families that addresses the expectations and skills needed to have success in high school and beyond.
