#Letter of Support from the Bond Hill Community Council

July 27, 2023

To Whom It May Concern

The Bond Hill Community Council (BHCC) is delighted to write a letter of support for the Xavier Jesuit Academy. With the many failures of our schools and the mass incarceration of our boys to have Deacon Winters come to the BHCC to present the goals of the Academy, the membership was elated. Deacon Winters is a 50-year resident of the Bond Hill Community. He came to BHCC in August 2021, to present the goals, and objectives for the Xavier Jesuit Academy for boys. He presented that there would be smaller classroom sizes, extended school days, extracurricular activities, and most importantly a focus on Academic Excellence. The BHCC gave its full support to the Academy.

Since that time in 2021, members of the BHCC have been invited to participate on Xavier Jesuit Academy's Board of Directors, attend lunch and learns and other special events. In addition, Fr. Nathan Wendt and Mr. Kyle Chandler have come to several BHCC meetings to give updates and timelines as they move closer to the school's opening. In addition, we can count on them to participate in and give support to BHCC planned activities in the community. They have been true partners.

Having the Xavier Jesuit Academy in Bond Hill fills us with immense pride. We look forward to the transformative impact the Academy's training will have on the growth and development of young boys in and around our community. We have a great collaborative relationship with the Academy and look forward to it flourishing even further in the years to come. Together, we see a bright future for the boys in Bond Hill, empowered by the Xavier Jesuit Academy's dedication to their success.
