Xavier Jesuit Academy students come from across Greater Cincinnati. While more students call Bond Hill and Roselawn home, families from school districts throughout the region entrust us with their sons, investing time daily to bring them to Bond Hill for an excellent Catholic education. This map shows where our 2025-2026 students live across Greater Cincinnati, with darker shades indicating neighborhoods with higher concentrations of students.

An Answer to a Community Need
Xavier Jesuit Academy was founded as an answer to a community need. When St. Agnes School closed in 1993, the historic building on California Avenue sat vacant for years. The community's desire for a Catholic school for boys in Bond Hill remained strong, creating an opportunity for transformation.
In August 2024, XJA opened its doors to 49 young men in grades 3-5, breathing new life into the former St. Agnes building. The school has grown rapidly in its first year, now serving 64 students with plans to reach full capacity of about 100 students by the 2027-2028 school year when the first 8th grade cohort is added.
A Regional Impact
The families who choose XJA demonstrate extraordinary commitment. With no bus system to transport students, parents and caregivers invest their time every day to drop off and pick up their sons. Students come from school districts across the Greater Cincinnati area, traveling from neighborhoods throughout the region to access XJA's scholarship-funded, faith-based education.
This geographic diversity reflects the broad appeal of XJA's mission: preparing young men to be leaders and "Men for Others" through disciplined academic preparation for life, in the Catholic and Jesuit tradition, while enriching their families and communities. The school operates on an extended day model from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing comprehensive formation that addresses intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual development.
Building Community Partnerships
We are grateful for every parent, caregiver, and community partner who has entrusted us with their sons. These partnerships extend beyond Bond Hill and Roselawn to touch families across Greater Cincinnati, building a network of support for the next generation of faith-filled leaders.
As XJA continues to grow, we remain committed to serving families seeking excellent educational opportunities, forming young men who will serve others and strengthen communities throughout the region.
