Hubbard's Cupboard Comes to Xavier Jesuit Academy

Xavier Jesuit Academy partners with the Sam Hubbard Foundation and Gardner Family Foundation to bring Hubbard's Cupboard, providing students on-site access to supplies, hygiene items, and healthy snacks.

Xavier Jesuit Academy is excited to announce a new partnership that will directly support students and teachers for years to come. The Sam Hubbard Foundation, in collaboration with the James J. and Joan A. Gardner Family Foundation, has just installed its signature program, Hubbard's Cupboard, on our campus for the next three years.

Hubbard's Cupboard, offered in partnership with Crayons and Beyond, is an on-site, on-demand resource that will give students and teachers immediate access to school supplies, hygiene products, and healthy snacks. Volunteers known as Cupboard Captains will restock the Cupboard approximately twice a month throughout the school year, ensuring these essentials are always within reach.

This partnership was championed by Maddy Johns, a member of XJA's Ambassador Committee, whose commitment to our students helped bring this resource to our campus.

At XJA, we believe that caring for the whole person, cura personalis, means attending to every dimension of a student's wellbeing, including their everyday needs. Hubbard's Cupboard reflects that same spirit of care, making sure our students have consistent, dignified access to the resources that support their daily success in and out of the classroom.

We are deeply grateful to the Sam Hubbard Foundation and the James J. and Joan A. Gardner Family Foundation for this generous three-year commitment, and to Maddy Johns for her leadership in making this partnership possible.
