On July 31, the Society of Jesus celebrates the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, who sent his companions into the world with a simple charge: go forth and serve. At Xavier Jesuit Academy, we mark this feast day by doing exactly that. Our "This Little Light of Mine" campaign runs July 22–31, inviting our community to invest in the Graduate Support Program, the team and resources that walk with our students long after 8th grade graduation.

Xavier Jesuit Academy students recently visited DePaul Cristo Rey High School to explore pathways for life after graduation. Exposure trips like this are a key part of our Graduate Support Program, giving our young men a firsthand look at the college preparatory experience and the opportunities ahead of them. Partnerships across the Jesuit and Nativity network continue to strengthen the pipeline of support our students receive well beyond eighth grade.
Dr. Johnson organized a visit and tour at Roger Bacon High School, an academically rigorous and competitive Catholic High School just right down the street from XJA.

Xavier Jesuit Academy will welcome its first graduating class in 2028. We're building our Graduate Support Program now, on the same foundation that produces results like these across the network: close mentorship, help navigate the high school search, and support with financial aid that continues long after our students leave our building.
One of the iniatives of the Graduate Support Program is Companion Scholars, a collaboration with St. Xavier High School. The program pairs eleven XJA fifth and sixth graders, selected for their character, academic promise, and leadership potential, with St. X mentors. Once a week, as part of their morality class, St. X students spend an hour with their younger companions, building relationships and offering a window into high school and beyond.
